I got my new Focus last week and I'm absolutely loving it so far. SE with sport package, 203A, and manual. The sonic blue metallic looks amazing in the sun. I'm averaging just over 7 L/100 km in mixed highway/city driving. Well built, practical, great ride and handling, good on gas and sexy looks...what more could you ask for?

Bought my car August 26, 2011. But i ony have 4,700 some miles on it.
And most of that was put on driving it around for fun in the first two months.
(I am retired and really only drive to go shopping or visit)

I still get strangers complementing me on my car's paint.
Yellow Blaze. i love it too.

It is really a great colour for the focus (better than the yellow from the 1st gen - and this coming from a person that doesn't typically like yellow cars lol)

Awww that's so sweet - I'm sorry to hear that
I'm thinking of calling mine Oreo since the black and white interior reminds me of said cookie lol

Oh, and yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and sticky this, it's rather refreshing hearing the "other side of the story", as it were.
I realize the quote is from page one of this thread but I have driven Lime Creek 3 times in my Focus now. It does make me miss my bike but I am very impressed at how it handles. Torque vectoring works fofosure.

I can once again enjoy cruising for the hell of it because I get great mileage and the car is very fun to drive. It is not a HP beast but that is not what I bought it for. I wanted MPG's, utility and fun factor without having to give up fit and finish. The 2 wheeler has made me never want to spend money on a sports car again. If I want fast and connection to the road it will be on a sport bike. Back on topic, I do love my MK3. It has enough power to keep me happy for my commuter and it looks good too. Anybody in the Austin area want to get a Focus get together PM me.

Just brought mine home last night! Haven't really done a whole lot of driving, taking her to Sarasota this weekend though! Haven't decided on a name yet.

The car I had prior to this was a "fancy" 98 Mercedes E320. I was a little worried that I might not enjoy the Focus as much. So far I'm enjoying the crap out of the car. Tight steering, smooth acceleration, and I love the way the steering wheel fits in my hands. She's not as fast as the 3.2 liter V6 that I left behind, but she's no slouch. I was on a 45mph road last night, when I looked down I realized I was going 60mph and didn't even realize it!

Awesome car!
