Thanks!

The vinyl came from a good friend of mine that runs a decal designing/producing company. I contacted him and bought a small section for $10.

Damnit! Dealership gave me the wrong splash guards! I got the ones for the 4-door!

I'll be returning the rears for the correct ones tomorrow.

Anyways, the reason is probably the stupid guy at the dealership.
He asks me what car?,
"2012 Ford Focus"
For the sedan or coupe?,
"It's the hatchback"
So it has 4-doors?,
"Ya, but it's the hatchback not the regular Focus with the trunk"
Oh ok we have some in stock.

What a dummy.

my dealership refers to the 4 door as the sedan and the 5 door as the hatchback, this is where possibly the confusion exists.

Yeah, the sedan is classified as a four door and the hatchback as a five.

Thanks for the instructions. Do the mudflaps have holes where the two torx screws go in?

Thank you for the write - up, nice!

I have a question. My 5 door HB gets a lot of dirt accummulated in the rear, I am guessing because of the aerodynamic shape ALL the dirt winds up on my rear hatch door and bumper. After installing the mudflaps, did you notice an improvement in how much dirt is on the rear of the car, is it less?

from what i've read that's forced there by dirt going over your car, and the aerodynamics+spoiler have a lot to do with that dirt. Not the grime from the road necessarily.

Right, I thought maybe some of the dirt could be reduced by installing rear mud flaps as they would prevent the dirt from settling on the rear bumper. The rear of my car gets AMAZINGLY dirty, I've never seen anything like this. I am looking for the right solution. Maybe that longer rear spoiler that Ford sells.
