That's not encouraging. I leak that you can't possibly detect without tearing apart the transmission.

If the technician said "leaking from the clutch assmbly", then I would assume that it was brake/clutch fluid from the slave cylinder. There was a parts list I saw here on FF from a DCT repair that included the slave cylinder. Of course, replacing the slave cylinder should always be done when replacing a clutch, so that doesn't mean it was necessarily the culprit.

The car is shifted using electronic servos not the hydraulics like on a normal manual gearbox, at least as far as I'm aware, and that if the fluid was leaking it was likely coming from the gearbox itself through a failed o-ring seal. In such an event it would be difficult to detect until the fluid started to seep past the clutch housing, but the clutch plates would be damaged before that time due to being coated in oil.

I wish I had the newer clutch in my car. Still does not run smooth after TSB 1,2,3.... blah blah. My dealership wont know what to do and Noemi (no offense) will tell me to pm and it will "escalate" to the service manager when the SM does not even know how to fix the problem himself because he knows nothing about the new clutch! didnt even know about every TSB we had durrr. Focus fanatics has been my savior in helping fix my issues! ;) We know more on here then they do at the dealership ha

I would like to know why your vehicle health report or the dash that there was a leakage and fluid or w.e is low

Huh? Are you saying you would like to see some sort of warning on the dash or the vehicle health report saying there is a leak? This would require additional sensors either to measure the fluid, or to detect leaks, and as far as I'm aware its not quite as simple as it sounds.

Just got the updates done to my car build date march 22 2011 and it definitely improves the low speed smoothness and and deceleration issues I was encountering. I got it done at maroone ford in ft lauderdale. they said they have not ever done this on any car.

they also told me they had to drive it on the highway at 70mph plugged into their computer. Has anybody heard of this?

No but it doesn't surprise me. After mine was done it had around 20 more miles on the clock.
