hmm, I took in my focus for tsb 11-10-02a and came out with paper work stating tsb 11-09-14a was applied. Still said transmission reprogramming was done. Anyone heard of this tsb? It looks like it could be older than 11-10-02a. Sigh, wish ford had an opened database.

Oh also my check engine light was on after they brought it back to me so now i gotta go back tomorrow, wtf? Well, it'll give me a chance to ask about 11-10-02a though.

150 miles after my January "adjustment", it seems to be a little better. Whether this is because the machinery is better or because driving techniques adjust to the machinery is a good question.

Just a little hot clutch chatter yesterday but I haven't really given it the urban traffic test yet. If th clutch chatter is gone I think I can say th DCT is OK, and maybe even enjoyable. Still wish the light throttle upshift points were a bit higher, though.

Let us know how your traffic test went!

S mode my man, S mode. If they were higher in D then those MPG numbers would be even more out of whack.

Yes that's a possibility. Just wish the S mode included an automatic shift to 6th. Upshift point in D wouldn't have to be raised much; maybe 200 RPMs at light throttle would do it for me.

I'd ask the tech. They have to get the code and download it so maybe he did not get the latest.

The update suppsively is for towing on 4 wheeels but looks like it contains the same tcm pcm internal versions.
It's murky, could any ford csr clarify?

Update re TSB 11-10-02A (aka. December update) - my wife informs me that her car shifts even smoother than before the TSB and that it shifts a little later at higher RPMs. She wondered if that was ok, and I said "Sounds good to me."

Is this supposed to be free? Called the dealer where I got my car from and they are telling me it's $150 for the update. Since I haven't seen anyone on here mention that, I'm thinking this is BS?
