I even pulled over and tried turning the car off/on and it went back to the same screen after MFT started up again.

At home I popped the fuse and it forced me to start the install all over again. So I left the car on idling for an hour...

The nav card I ordered last night at 6 pm arrived today (which is amazing) so I have a fully functioning system.

I'm an IT professional and I have issues with this damn system... I can't imagine a regular end-user. Ford really needs to rethink its in-vehicle technology. An upgrade shouldn't be this cumbersome.
Strange, my tech gave me the new A4 SD card, and I downloaded and installed 3.5.1 myself with no glitches whatsoever.

I'm a retired IT professional.

After a couple days, the incoming messages work as long as I don't reply from my phone or send one from my phone. After that MFT stops recieving them until my next reconnect.
O-Well.....
Any one else?

Do a master reset. It's a pain, but it will work much better afterwards. They should add it as the final step of the upgrade.

Sounds like quite the PITA. Both of my self-installations completed on the first attempt luckily (3.0.2 and 3.2.2). Dealer did 3.5.1 since it was still on TSB at that point and I needed them to provide me the nav card. Yeah, a pain but at least you didn't have to spend a mind-numbing 2 to 2-1/2 hours sitting at the dealership (hey, gotta look for the positives here, even when they are minimal)! Hopefully, once you finally got there, the install went clean and things are working for you.
Yep. Everything worked out and I haven't had any issues. I was definitely thankful I didn't have to take it to the dealer.

When I upgraded to 3.0.2, I had no issues whatsoever... I guess it's random.

43 minutes - not counting the master reset I had to do afterwards.

I have heard of some Focus with the same issue, and my parents Escape is also doing it. If it is a rear camera, they have alot of cameras to replace!
Update on this, dealer replaced the camera, still didn't fix the problem. Rear parking lines turned off after the next few times the vehicle was used. I was not suprised.

I installed my update late last week. Overall, I've noticed some improvements (POIs actually show up on-screen when I'm asked to make a selection instead of nothing loading and Sync Lady yelling at me to choose, and the Shuffle LED finally works on my iPod!) and some issues.

Biggest problems...
- Nav route calculation is dreadfully slow at times. It took over 2 minutes to calculate/load a simple, 20-mile route on Saturday. And that was using a Favorite location.
- Nav in general is slower than before... takes longer to load map when you first switch to it, there's more lag when it's animated/moving while driving, etc.
- Voice commands are suddenly very laggy. Press the Sync button, and then it takes 3-5 seconds for the chime to play so I can say the command. Pre-v3.5.1 the chime happened nearly instantaneously.
- Candidate/selection lists still don't appear sometimes - if I say to play a song and it asks me to choose, no list pops up, but Sync Lady still asks me to pick one.
