I've previously said the radio is about the only thing in MFT that isn't really buggy. I stand corrected. I accidentally switched from FM to AM and found this bug (which is reproducible on my MFT, but I haven't tried rebooting yet):

1. Tune to an HD FM station
2. Press the AM/FM button to tune to a non-HD AM station
3. Press the AM/FM button again to tune by to the FM station. Silence. Error: Cannot tune to HD station.

Workaround: Press the HD Radio button twice.

So suddenly on Friday the Bluetooth audio connection between the MFT and my iPhone stopped working. Every time I choose that connection it fails within a few seconds. I have deleted the connection a couple times and it still does it. Im going to try the fuse pull reset trick tomorrow and see if that helps. Frustrating ...

I didn't know how bad it actually was...

Well, I've owned my Focus since Dec '11, and I have to say I love driving it.

When I am, I do like to listed to the radio, so I have an iPod hooked up to MFT. Once in a while it will automatically disconnect, other times, it will simply fail to start playing anything. As a backup, I prepared my 4GS iphone with the same songs and playlists. Unfortunately, MFT has trouble connecting to bluetooth stereo sometimes, which is funny, because I can still make bluetooth calls with it. Also, this cannot be remedied by pluging the iphone directly into the USB slot, because the USB wasn't working to begin with.

Now, in the past week, the stereo has been frozen and unable to play anything but the radio. I did have a faint glimmer of hope when one morning it decided to work again, but that was dashed yesterday afternoon, the screen has just been black ever since.

All I can say is thank God that they left manual climate controls.

I just pulled fuses 67 and 79 and the bluetooth audio starting working again. Have to admit though that I was pretty pissed that I was under my hood (to get the fuse puller tool thingy) and then under my dash pulling fuses on a car that is less than two months old.... errrrrr ....

I did it on the very first day, so you're almost lucky that way

I have just become a victim of a double whammy bug in MFT.
1) The system froze and volume kept creeping up.
2) The system did not turn off when I turned off the car.

The end result: stereo blasting while car was parked. I had to keep going out an turning down the volume before the neighbors decided they wanted to call the cops.

The SA told me it's been pushed back to the beginning of the second quarter, early April, and may be pushed back again.
Yeah, it is unfortunate. From looking around on other forums and general digging, I've noticed the phrase "first quarter" not being used so much anymore and the word "spring" becoming more and more common.

Ouch, no doubt double-whammy. Fortunately for me every time the volume thing happened it has shut down fine and everytime it has refused to shut down I haven't been locked in with the volume. Sorry man, that totally sucks! How long until it finally shut itself off?

It was about 30 minutes. I was in the car flipping through the manual to try find ou where fuse 67 when it finally shut down. When I turned it on again, it did its 'scheduled maintenance'.

Its a pretty sorry state of affairs when I get happy when my system crashes! (It means I should be relatively problem free ---- for a little while at least)
