I haven't had issues with it, other than the minor ones (such as no display of radio presets ... but that's remedied pretty easily). I'd go for MFT again ...

I can do without the nav, since I have a smartphone, so it isn't a huge deal, but I don't see why they don't do it ... I also wouldn't pay $800 (the retail amount) for it ... I would be more likely to do $400 max, but that would even hurt. Why doesn't Ford put like a 1 year 'wait period' on people who want to add it after ... that would work in my opinion

Also, APPLINK! COME ON! lol. It would be much better to stream the likes of Pandora through that rather than the phone... plus the obvious voice controls that would be gained with applink.

I decided to listen to the radio for the first time in a long time, so I switched to FM1 which has all of my presets.

The steering wheel controls would move through the presets correctly, but the center console controls were switching between a different set of stations (possibly AM). If I used the center console buttons to change stations, I had to use the touch screen to select an FM1 station again.

I'll have to see if it happens on the way home tonight.
I haven't had that happen to me, and I listen to the radio a lot since my Sirius subscription ceased (not sure I want to shell out the $ for satellite... yet...). The only issues I've had in regards to radio are the presets not showing (text or numbers) until you cycle around back to FM1 or whatever you were on.

I love it when it works. It really pisses me off when it doesn't work. I work in IT so I dont' find it complicated but sheesh, it is frustrating when it doesn't respond.
My biggest complaint is the navigation, the maps sometimes take forever to show on the screen, all I see is the car icon stuck with nothing showing. Nevermind when you have a route defined and you start the car, sometimes it takes 10 - 15 minutes to show the route, at that point you passed 5 turns already. If it worked as advertised it would be a great thing. I'm really hoping the new update will fix some of these bugs, I don't care about additional features at this point, I just want bug fixes.

Same here.. thought it's to the point now, I regret getting the car altogether, because of MFT. I bought it for the MFT and the connectivity to google maps, as it really helps with navigation for my business. It's pretty much unusable for me now. I can't rely on it.
Whenever I need to put in a new destination, I just can't bear to have to go through the torture of dealing with it not taking, finding, or navigating to a destination. Then if it does work, I'm shocked and amazed... then while driving I have a constant fear the system will reboot or freeze up.

Are you still experiencing a black screen, thunderwoof? Which software level is installed in your vehicle? Have you ever tried performing a Master Reset? PM me the details.

Hey everyone -

I just wanted to jump in and let you know we haven't left you in the dark. There will be an update for your MyFord Touch-equipped vehicle, but it isn't available yet. Our engineers are continuing to test the software. If you haven't installed this yet, please don't. As I obtain more info I'll share it with you and announcements will also be made here:

So the post dated yesterday announcing MFT 3.2 doesn't apply to the Focus?

Nope, it doesn't apply to the Focus (for sure) or the Escape (I think).

No, and you shouldn't see it under Sync Updates over at SMR. Only people with the models it applies to are seeing it (no Focus and no Escape owners, everyone else gets it).

Thanks. I hate the way Ford handles this. They're so vague and not forthcoming at all about this stuff. Doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence.
