I definitely agree that it's wrong... not just for removing features, but for making it look god awful. Part of the allure with many of the things on this car is the way it looks and feels. It looks like it was designed years ago as a cheap aftermarket unit. That alone should be wrong.

The Chrysler/Dodge infotainment system is quite good, except that the screen itself doesn't look quite as nice.. the contrast is lower so it looks a little more washed out. Also, you have to go through the menus for things like heated seats and the direction of the climate vents, which I'm not fond of. One thing though, it's as snappy as it gets. You can press all kinds of buttons very quickly and it always responds before you take your finger off the button.

Oh, and their RDS data shows all the information at once, rather than just a tiny little space showing 8 characters at a time, like on stereos from 2001... makes sense on such a large screen. Would love to see that on our FM, rather than a almost entirely blank screen with massive numbers for the station frequency..

Question Favorites button on MFT 3.x

Hi,
How do you set the favorites button on the steering wheel? The manual for MFT2.0 said press the home button and reorder the favorites there.
I tried that but pressing the home button only brings me back to the 4-quad screen. if i press the button on that screen then nothing happens.

Could anyone give me the instructions?

If you talking about the two ''stars'' button on the right hand side of the steering wheel, they are no longuer in use. Thanks to the new and improved My Ford Touch V3.0

Driving to work this morning listening to an album through my iPod. Wanted to skip one particular song so I used the Fwd button on the steering wheel. Hit it and suddenly everything went quiet. I looked in the corner of the screen and artist/track info was "Unknown". I was on a semi-busy area of the expressway so I didn't really want to have to mess with the screens until I got in an area a little more desolate but once I did I went to the Ent screen. The Fwd button didn't skip the track, it changed my audio source from USB to BT.

Welcome to MFT 3.0. You can no longer set favorites on the steering wheel. The buttons are now useless except for taking you back to the home screen.

Well my car already had mft 3.0 installed when I picked it up last week. I guess I have to live with it then.
