Had this issue for a while, just never got to the point to replace it, took it to ford a few times and never can get it replaced under warranty. Sprayed with the throttle cleaner and never took the car out to long distance drives because that's when it happens.
Trading the car in soon, it has too many issues. |

You might have the TB issue, it just disconnects the throttle and the wrench light comes on. Have to turn the car off then on then it would be fine for another 150-200 miles then it happens again.
It happens more often when I put 100-200 lbs of stuffs in the trunk (moving stuffs from Chicago to Rochester alot). |

I want to look into your throttle body concern and see how I can help. To get started, send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and VIN. I'll get to work! Crystal

Please contact me!!!
In May of 2012, my powertrain light came on and my engine shut off. The dealership told me that it was my throttlebody sensor, which was within the Powertrain system. The Powertrain warranty states it covers ony electrical sensor problems up to 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. At that time, I only had my fFord Focus for 3 years, and the odometer stated 59,000 miles. I was told by the dealer that even though the part was within the Powertrain system, it would not be covered under my warranty. I also called Customer service that day, and they told me the same thing. I am in the process of taking this to the next level, so if any of you have experienced the same thing, please contact me @ 804-833-6397. Thank you.

I can arrange for a follow-up call from your region's Customer Service Manager if you have questions about their decision. If you want to proceed, send me a PM with your current mileage and I'll get to work. Crystal

And what good would that do, since I already received a letter from your department stating that you couldn't do anything for me?
