Fantastic job WD. Great pics, maybe I'll send you my Front swayBar install on my SVT and you could do the write up on it. Wow It's not a install for the timid or the shy of know how. But these pics could really make the install alot easier.

Hum I pulled the center consol off insted of pulling the boot out, read somewhere putting the boot back on can be a PITA, took only like 2 mins to pull the whole center console off, just pulled the top of the boot down a bit to unscrew the shifter knob off with the wrench, nice writeup, gotta love detailed pics!

Can any Steeda guys comment on the Ford Racing STS being a Steeda? I'd like to get a STS after I get my tires, but I want the Steeda. If the FRPP is the same, but cheaper I plan on getting it.

They are most definitely the same shifter.
The only thing I don't know, is who makes it for whom.
IOW, does Steeda make the shifter for Ford, or does Ford make it for Steeda?
Or, does someone else make it, and Steeda and Ford just boxes it up?

For me, it was harder to get the boot out of the console, than it was to put it back on.
Popped right in.

I knew I'd hear from you!
I'm feeling really bad at this point, that I didn't get this done a couple weeks sooner.

And, to everyone else. THANKS for the compliments!

(Patting myself on the back)....
I thought I did a pretty good job with my Motor Mount install, and now this one.
Exactly how does one go about submitting a write up like this for the "how to" section?

The install walk-through is very thorough. I'm sure SVT owners will find this very useful. STICKY!!

How did you put your boot back on?
Put the front of the boot in first, then push in and down at the back.
Popped right in. Piece of cake.
