Check engine light already! O2 sensor...
Less than 150 miles since I bought the dam car and i've already got a check engine light!


Had autozone pull the code and it's for a P0136 heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2.

The car comes with a 30 day warranty where the dealer covers 50% of any repairs... so I'll be taking it to them thursday before doing anything. What harm can it cause by driving it a little till then? And how hard is this sensor to get to (which one is it for that matter)? I'll probably just replace it myself but I need to figure out which one it is...

Make sure they put a motorcraft sensor or you will have the worst headache of your life lol. Also If your bracket is broken there's a chance it will keep breaking sensors, I know for my car is breaks them Others it doesn't.

Do you happen to know which sensor it is? I assume there is two of them?

Anyone?? I think it took a toll in my gas mileage... Just filled up and got 19.9 mpg.

Try the fuse, mine showed the same, I replaced both and it turned out to be a 7.5amp fuse

Where is the o2 sensor fuse at? In the car or under the hood?

Well.... the light went away. Hopefully it stays away. I'll probably replace them both anyway next time I have it up on jack stands..
