Before turbo work

So im slowly building my turbo kit outside of my car and its beeing built cheap with quality parts im really not trying to spend of 3500 on the turbo setup. My question is... what mods should i do and can i do now to my car befor its F/I that will help benifit it when the turbo goes it.... im only trying to hit 275-300hp so i dont think building will be nesscary

Engine mounts
Battery relocation (optional but helpful)
Wideband (again optional, but you will need it eventually, so might as well)

Make sure you don't go too big of a turbo and run into more problems like trying to fit it in like me. Lol

lol I had that exact same problem ^^ Turbo was too big, no way to fit it. Luckily my friend gave me a free disco-potato GT28RS =D

I'd probably agree with up above.... Wideband... you could even install your boost gauge if you wanted (it would be purely vacuum though)... you probably want to get your oil drain going, whether it be in your windage tray or the oil pan its going to have to come off sometime so you decide when that is.

What I did was get my buddy to weld in a bung into my oil pan so when its all setup, I just plug it in and its there already :)

Battery re-locate is a HUGE space saver!
Got any pics of your setup?

^lucky to get a free turbo. Lol.
I'm trying to fit a precision 6765(little bigger than a 37r) so far it's hitting the trans.
