Finished seats. They could use another vacuuming but most of the dirt stains are gone.



And moved on the the dashboard. I still need to try to clean up the drivers side carpet but things are slowly moving along. I do dread doing the rear part though, they are even worse than the front was.

Bought one of those special interior antennas from Advanced Auto Parts today. We will see how it works in a little bit.

Here it is installed:



I can't really give a report on how well it works because I haven't run it in the "real world" yet, but it does show an improvement after a quick test run in my driveway. I am still having to use a booster between the boosted antenna and radio to get reception. The one area it really excels in, however, is the visual department. It's much better than the copper wires I had strung between the headliner and windshield mirror.

Where did you find that antenna? I have decided that I am going to go slick topped, and give body work a try. Do you have the package still? I have went to advance auto parts, auto zone, NAPA, O'Reillys and asked if they had anything like this. The resounding answer was no... If I could get a part number for advance that would be awesome. Thanks!

I don't have the package (or number) with me now but I'll get it for you tomorrow. This antenna was mixed in with 10 or so other antennas, but the biggest difference was the price of +$20 versus the others of $5 or $10 for the rest.
