Grill air intake scoop
A while back, I stumbled across a thread were members of this forum had done similar work for their air intakes. I have long since lost that thread but here is what I did for mine.

The portion that I cut out of the plastic shroud over the grill.



The scoop and shark fin for a lack of a better word was cut out of hard plastic and glued into place.



The scoop sitting in the car.



Everything back into place.



And a view from the grill.

Than don't bother doing them to your car.

I'm not doing any of this to please you or anyone else. I'm doing these things because it's what I want and what I like. If you don't like any of it, with all due respect, it's not my problem and you can go cry about it somewhere else.

Another section of the interior coming together:



Booster cables are under the sub and a booster box, tire pump, jack, lug wrench and other smaller items are now stored out of sight and out of the way.

An update.

First, a couple pictures I took the other day.




Next, an update on the air scoop. I filled up the tank for the first time since adding the air intake scoop to the front and had almost a 1 mpg increase from the mid 24's to 25.3 mpg. I can't really make a direct comparison from these numbers since the weather condition have changed dramatically and most of this last run was done on snow covered roads. However, considering how many time I gave it the gas, I am very surprised that I even saw any gain in MPG's.

Lastly, another update on the interior build. This is what is looked like Monday but I have since done more but didn't get a picture.
