And I'm sure you read every page of it. Right?

Actually, most of what's in this thread is mostly BS but there is a little bit of build related items scattered throughout.

As for doing it all myself (and the more mechanical parts with the help of my dad), it's the only way of doing it IMO. At least if it's within your skill level. It's hard to take pride in something if all you contributed is money and let someone else do the work, but when you can put your own time and sweat into it, that's when you can really take pride in your ride. Plus, I'm just to cheap to pay someone else to do it. lol

Before:

After:

The spark plug cover was missing on the car when I bought it so I finally broke down and bought a new used one. My old battery was also dying so I replaced it with the proper sized battery and put the battery cover back on. Now if only I could get rid of all the rust.

The worse eye sore is that P/S line, go get a new one, and it will look much better.

And tear the fire wall blanket off the back.

The plastic cover that normally goes on top of the grill doesn't fit on this grill so air can freely move up to the intake and blow over the engine as it is now. I may try putting a new scoop in sometime to direct the air a bit more but I'm in no hurry to do it yet.

^^ this plus the heat shield. There's a bit more but this would make a good start. How hard is it to replace the P/S line, does anyone know?
