No, there going to stay black, at least for now. If anything, I almost would consider putting a white stripe on them like my five spokes, but I really like the simple black. We'll see what happens down the road.

I may be willing to sell/trade/give you my mudflaps someday if I can find a material that stays cleaner than what I have now. We'll see.

Here we go. I wish the car didn't have mud splattered on it but i didn't have time to wash it again after the 100 mile trip yesterday. All these pictures were taken at the Maple Ridge Center just outside of Lowville, NY. This is where I'm a grounds keeper in the summer and work on the tubing hill in the winter.

Thanks man.

Here's the story on the 5-spokes. After a took them off the car, I took a good look at all four of them to determine what been making all the vibrations and noise (I can't believe how smooth and quite the car is now with the new rims. It's like a whole new machine). Here's the final tally on them all.

DS front wheel: Bad curb rash on the outside and major bend in the rim, good tire.

DS rear wheel: Major bend in the the rim, tire balding on the inside edge.

PS front wheel: Good rim, good tire.

PS rear wheel: Good rim, balding tire on the inside.

The balding of the rear tires was from when they were on the front last year and I throwing them away. I plan on removing the other two and keeping them for spares. As for the rims, I don't really know what to do with them. Two appear to be in good condition but the other two are poor. If you'd like to buy the two good ones or take the whole set, I'd support offers.

Edit: I can take individual pictures if you want.

Free. I made them myself using old conveyer belt material. The biggest problem with them is they are a cloth type material rather that rubber so they absorb mud and water making them always look dirty. It's not the biggest deal because they are mudflaps but they are much more noticeable with the gloss black wheels now.
