Take a good, hard look at this car how it stands not because it is destined for some wholesale changes. I've come to the conclusion that I have taken some areas too far for my tastes and it's time to rein it in a bit. Plus, I have a few other projects that I'm working on that should really help clean up the car too. Here I go, this is going to be a fun ride.

Next: wash the poor thing and than restore the headlights and remove the hood stripe.

Ditto, but it was worth a try. I removed the tint today along with the hood stripe. Also the stretch kit for the roof rack came today so that should be going on tomorrow.

yeah it was worth a try. maybe if you got some mach's and painted the inside black, or blue to paintmatch, that would be killer. i know, not the cheapest/easiest. i am still amazed at everything you have done. lol

Svt Machs are my dream headlights but they will have to weight a while. I guess you can use some kind of cleaner or something to wipe off the chrome inside so they are black. A few members have done that already and it is killer.

yeah, if you use diluted bleach, it kinda falls right off. but then it will fade to a dull black.
i am in the process of this (off and on when i have free moments) with mine. i have the guts from a busted up set and have been toying with some ideas to make my machs a little more unique. (as if green hids wasn't enough)

You still have the green vinel on the side of your car right? Try doing that color for the headlights, I think it would look great.

i have temporarily removed it. trying to get a better shade of green.
and i thought about doing all black with lime green rings around the lights.
i don't want to do green headlights. they will stand out too much. i want the look of tinted headlights, without actually tinting them.
