how did you go about the rear key lock delete? filler and paint? been wanting to do this, and maybe use hood pins to secure it

I just put a piece of tape over the lock so I wouldn't get anything in it and used body filler and paint much like the badge.

A quick list of what's changed on the exterior since the last pictures I took about a week and a half ago:

Rear Ford badge delete
Better quality pin striping on the sides (the first stuff I used was old and a bit yellowish)
Front grill badge delete with new mesh.
Rear hatch key lock delete.

Next up, I'm still working on finishing up the interior which may happen as soon as today. I'm also working on ideas for the headlights and turn signal but that's still just in the planning stages.

After seeing the hatch all finished it seems a little bare IMO but overall looks good. Maybe if just the SVT emblem and keyhole were on there it wouldn't look so bare. Nicely done though I'm liking the changes.

^^ True. But personally I like it that way. It's one of those things that I never really notice or appreciate until I look at old pictures and am reminded that it used to look like that.

Well, it looks like it's time to paint the summer tires and get them ready to go back on the car. Probably by the end of this week or the beginning of next week, the snows will be coming off; I just don't see the point in wasting my perfectly good tires anymore.

I like it clean like that! hmmm I've been thinking of filling in that key hole...I have never used it lol whats the point :P

Exactly. It just looks like an afterthought with that big piece of rubber covering it. As long as the motor doesn't crap out, all I ever have needed is the interior button and the one on the remote.

same here. I don't even have the rubber piece lol so um yeah looks dumb there haha.
