Vinny - He's up in the REAL Snow country, south of Watertown NY.

Pisser you got the bottom crunched, time for a Rally skid plate for those roads!

What sailor said. Lowville is between the Tug Hill Plateau and Adirondacks with some awesome roads on either side. What sucks about this mound, though, is it was on the last road I'd ever expect. It's a relatively heavy traveled gravel shortcut road between two main highways that is usually in great shape. It was the last place I ever expected to rip my exhaust off.

That project has been moved up the latter slightly now. lol

First, however, I think I'm going to pursue raising the car first. I have no use for the car sitting so low and it would be more beneficial and cost effective. Especially when winter rolls around and I'm plowing through a foot of snow again.

Your ST170 retrofit is looking awesome! I had always planned to do that, never got around to it lol

That sucks that your car bottomed out :( I hope you can find all the parts you need. Yes, it's time for a skid plate :)

Oil pan and flex pipe are on the way. I also bought a new/used cat over the winter thinking that may be one reason the car hasn't been running right (now I think it was just vacuum leaks) but I'll put that on as well since the cat has to come off anyways for the oil pan.

Also have a new alternator coming for Rusty. It's alternator went out mid winter so it's been relegated to short runs only. Now that my car will be off the road for a while, it's time to get Rusty trucking again.

New alternator in Rusty and it's finally back to full service. Meaning the Svt can be parked now until the exhaust and oil pan are installed.

On a side note, since I may have to live in Rusty for a couple weeks or more, it's time to fix one of the most glaring issues: the crappy stock audio system. I've already have my old Pioneer headunit, subwoofer box, and wiring harness waiting in the wings with a dash mounting kit on the way. I'll be getting the woofer and amp this week. Can't wait to get some real sound on that car.

Which one is Rusty? The black sedan, if I remember correctly right?

Yeah. The black/rusty SE Sedan.

And now she can shake a little of that rust off. I got my old first Pioneer headunit in with a 900 Watt Pioneer amp powering a 1300 Watt Pioneer Subwoofer. It sound's great and the total install took only about 3 hours. Not bad for having to string all the wires.

It's fiberglass and bondo on the rocker panel. lol I never got a chance to finish it before winter last year.

The lip is a spare Svt lip that I had.
