What did you use for material? Fiberglass?

I'm using bodyfiller right now to get the shape. After sanding, I'll wrap it with fiberglass so it doesn't simply fall off. That wouldn't be good. lol

Haha. By the time I'm done, it will be a gallons worth on the bumper. That wouldn't be something I'd like to hit on the road.

Looks great already. Still want those triangle signals? And how is your hitch mounted? Looks like your diffuser isn't chopped up like others i've seen.

Looks good man! Really like the rear lighting

iirc, there is a red SVT with flares and he just pulled the bumpers to fit, why didn't you go that route?

Thanks.
I think I'll pass try getting a smoked pair from Ebay UK or something. I don't really like the idea of putting orange triangles on the car anymore.
Pics and info about the hitch are on the first couple pages of this thread.

If I simply pulled the bumper, it wouldn't have lined up with the fenders right. My goal is to have the flares look roughly like they do on a RS bumper with the flare continuing down the bumper till it ends at the foglight seem which I'm also extending out.

Yeah, the Bondo is more or less a mold for fiberglass. I don't trust using just the bondo especially if the bumper starts flexing or something. I'm just using it to get the right shape before covering it with the final outside layer of fiberglass.

The results of the weekend. Still a lot of work to go but it's starting to take shape.

BTW. It was bondo for the basic shape, fiberglass over that, and I'm finishing with bondo again.
