Yeah, for ease of future wheel fitment, i would prefer metal rear fenders to use... Might try my hand with making them once i get settled in my new place.
I want it for my track build. 9" or 10" tires in the rear would be nice without poke... Omfg

I need the fiberglass fenders for my rear. I was washing the car the other day and the rear fenders are starting to show rust. I'd be more than happy to have an entire car made out of plastic/fiberglass.

And no, I will never own a Saturn. lol

it would be pretty expensive to ship me the shell, but if you DID I would be willing to do the rear arch work for free in exchange for borrowing the car for the development of my molds to make more. Might be worth your while, even if you don't plan to KEEP the shell you could pretty easily sell that if it has a title to someone dying to build a zx5 RS clone....

that was my original plan too.....but the metal versions are IMPOSSIBLE to track down nowadays. coming from someone who has measured....you COULD get a 9" wheel under the fiberglass fenders without poke....and if the goal was traction for a track build, you would more than likely not be tucking the tire enough to worry about contact with the backside/inside of the arch. I have 8" wide team dynamics on mine, with about 1/4" to spare on the outside before being even with the face of the arch, and an easy 3/4"+ inner clearance before having contact with any suspension componants...and that's with focus-central coil-over sleeves/springs over the shocks out back....

The door to fender gap is never going to look very good but I can't help that (or don't want too lol) but I've very happy with the rest.

Unfortunately, most of that snow is probably going to be melted in about a day. Rain is on the way. :(
