That's what I'm doing. My "puddle" lamp will be on the under side of the map pockets and the hidden map pockets lights will also be wired to the door switch so they only come on when I open the doors.

Do you want the lights to only come on with the door or do you also want the option to turn them on when the doors are shut?

Correct. All you need to do is get a constant power to your leds and ground them using the door ajar ground (found in the A pillar). Pictures and more info on the ground are a couple pages back but if you need more info on it or it's confusing, let me know.

IMO, it may also be a good idea to put a switch on the power side so you can turn them off if needed but that can be any generic switch.

So, got the "new" wiring harness for the hatch mostly in yesterday. It was from an 05 but everything was the same except for the door ajar. For some reason, the 05 doesn't have the same style ground based system for the door as my 02 but I'll be able to cheat by hook the ground permanently somewhere else. I'm pretty sure I'll know if my hatch isn't closed without a little light. lol

I don't think I ever posted in here that the car has entered winter mode so here's a couple pictures. Namely the only things that changed are the wheel, an unpainted svt lip, and the addition of the rear wiper again.

And lastly, I've been tinkering with my audio system lately and here's a list of the setup after the dust has settled.

Pioneer DEH-P3500. The headunit I bought for $20 from the salvage yard. Everything on it works great except the internal amp is blown, but because my speakers are externally amp, this doesn't effect me.

Pioneer TS-A874M rear speakers

Pioneer speaker for that front too but I can't remember there part number.

Pioneer TS-W304R 12" 1300W Subwoofer

I can't remember the name or specs of the amp powering to sub but it's powerful and sound great. lol

And the week link of it all, a Dual 400w amp powering the speaker. Still want to get rid of that amp but don't want to put the money into buying another one. lol
