The adapter plugs into the back of the headunit. I'm pretty sure it will only work for Pioneers and most don't need them anymore but my DEH-P3500 is an older unit before external storage devices got so popular so it didn't come with an Aux or USB port. I still can't operate the iPod from the headunit but it's much better than using the iTrip.

I don't really need that many switches but they sell them in a set of ten so I figured I may as well get that many. I have an idea to run a group of them down the top side of the center console along side the P-brake handle and wire them up as I need them.

Here's a link to the switches: http://www.amazon.com/10PC-Round-Roc...lue+LED+switch

Salvage yard is on the list today. The front bearing on my dad's focus went out so we are going to try to get one hub and all from the salvage yard. His poor car just isn't worth putting a new bearing in anymore; the body is rusting out very badly on it.

While I'm there, I'm going to try and grab a new wiring harness for the hatch. The door ajar warning light is coming on intermittently again and I don't have license plate lights anymore so I assume the wires are breaking again. I'm sick of trying to repair the wires so it will be much easier to simple replace the whole harness (hopefully easier lol).

I considered doing the try as well but I use that for other things so I did want to loose it. Plus, like you, I already have so many wires running around behind there, I don't know how I could jam more back there. lol

Hack saw and threader; that's all you needed. I cut the sifter stem to the height I liked and rethreaded it for the shifter knob; it was really easy. If you have more questions, feel free to ask; I can even get you a couple pictures if you like.

Your referring to this one, right? If so, I don't have any more switches like that on hand but if your really interested, I can see if I can buy some more and whip you up a switch. What will you be using it for and how many actions would you need for it?
