Power steering replacement help!!

Alright guys, I have. 2004 ford focus zts 2.3l well it all started last night when I decided that I would tackle replacing my thermostat, PITA by the way. Well we were tearing it all apart and I decided to look my power steering pump over because it's been making some noise lately, and it has a lot of up and down play. So were trying to get the pump out, I can get it unbolted but we can't get the bottom pressure line to break lose, it's a 18mm wrench but we can't get to budge. Please any tips or help would be much appreciated. I don't want to have to cut this line and have to buy a new pump and line.

Remove the headlight for better access.
Remove the pulley while the pump is still bolted to engine.
Use a "flare wrench" to unbolt the line (I think I did this while pump was still attached to motor, can't remember 100%)

What exactly are you going to do if you remove it, other than replace it?

Well I need to remove the line in order to replace the power steering pump. I can't drive it the way it is. Just can't get that line to break loose.
