I had a brainstorm today... I don't want to make my car too loud.. but what about removing the rear muffler and putting tips out the center? :)

People have done center tips. I think they look funny cuz the car isn't as boxy as a mini. However I took off the rear muffler and love the sound. The pic is in this thread somewhere.

Im sure it's in here in the thread somewhere but if i just install the 40477 borla and do nothing else will the sound be very close to stock?
I love the dual look but hate the noise, looking for quite as possible.

Had my local muffler shop suggest a stock firebird muffler for quite sound...thoughts? Also was thinking "flo pro" 3" rolled stright tips?

You just broke my heart when you said hate the noise... How could you hate such a wonderful thing...? It's like hating puppies... Loud puppies, but puppies nonetheless... Oh well... To each their own, right? Why is it everywhere I look people spell QUITE instead of QUIET? Is there a quite exhaust I don't know about? Quite nice, quite loud, quite quiet? Spelling stuff like that is my equivalent of dripping water in the background. I try to ignore it, but sometimes I can't...

PS... Loving the dual exhausts you guys have put on. I'm thinking I'd like to do a similar setup on my 08 by modifying my FSWERKS race exhaust to make it dual tip. I really like the look, don't mind the lack of performance gain.
