BNIB Stage 2 Comp Cams
Hey guys/Gals,
I have a set of BNIB Stage 2 Comp Cams and might possibly have a set of used ones in a couple of weeks (New when installed, currently in my car for past 4500miles). The new ones are new so obviously no issues..the used ones have the Ford Racing cam gears on them and they were a lil hard to take off last time so if I try to separate the cam gears I may snap the cams so we will see. I'm going for Stage 3 cams now so dont need these anymore. seller: Me location: Staten Island, NY Price: BNIB Stage 2 Comp cams: 310 shipped to your door (never opened, still in box w/ plastic wrap. Used Stage 2 Comp Cams: $285 shipped to your door. with Ford Racing Cam gears...hard to find as they are discontinued. (the cams only have APPRX 4500miles on them...practically new). If you find this stuff cheaper let me know but I looked around and this is by far the cheapest. Good luck. PM me, call me 6465234575 or email me juanh76@hotmail.com |

Do you have pics of new and especially the used with closeup of the cam gears? Do these fit 2.0 zetec(my engine) or are they for Duratec?

Are those the same cams with the gears that are slightly crooked and the bolt is jammed?

DirtKonaZX3; These are for the Zetec 2.0 DOHC engine not for the duratec...I can take pictures of the new ones but they are still actually still inside the box wrapped in plastic...I can take a picture of the boxes if you want but I guarantee they look like the boxes you find in the comp cams website, the only difference would be that mine are going to be less expensive, lol... the used ones are a little harder to take pictures of as they are still in my car that I use as a daily driver,,, I am going to take them off and swap them for the Stage 3 cams... so when I do that (in about 2 weeks) I can take a crap load of pics for ya.

benklap, I think you misunderstood my previous posts... I never said the gears are crooked...the gears are in excellent shape however they are on the stage 2 comp cams camshafts. they are advanced on the exhaust cam like one degree so if I had to do an extreme amount of advancing it wouldnt be able to but seriously who has to do that? the cams have been on my car for about 4500miles with the gears on the way it is and it runs just fine...the only thing is that I tried to take the gears off once and it was on really tight and I was scared to snap the cams so I didnt try anymore...I am the type of person that if one lil thing is out of place it eats at me and eats at me...so the cam gear on the exhaust cam is not perfectly placed...it drives me nuts but it doesnt effect the way it works. lol. I can take a pic of that and show you guys though so you can see what Im talking about.

Hey guys, I will take some pics of the cam gears (still on the car) with my cell phone camera at about 1600 hrs when I have to go from one site to another...if you wanna see them just send me your phone numbers and ill text them to you or i guess I can send via email from my phone but that doesnt always work out for me (not too techy).

How do these run, how is the idle, and how much power did you make from them? I have comp3's and am wondering about DD ability.

these were smooth as hell, no loopy idle..i did not dyno so I cant tell you what I made but it was a considerable difference between this and stock...much faster, great p/u at around 2200rps or so all the way up. im gonna try the stage 3s myself that is why im getting rid of these also that lil bit of advance thing is driving me nuts, lol...i just took a lil video of it.. i may you tube it so you can hear it and see it.
