Nice job! Don't see too many 12's with plasti dip.

I think I'm going to do my 12's wheels for winter protection.

Thanks guys, this site has made me a Fanatic!
You were the first to see it, taking it out of the garage today.
There was a lot of layout time, and then the fumes, wow need more fresh air. Paying for it today with headache.

Thanks, thats the look I was going for. I thought the car looked so aerodynamic but the wheels needed some help. After the hubcaps, it needed scallops.
Now I wonder how people will react not knowing that is plasti dip. And I really didn't just spray paint a brand new car.

You gotta love plastidip(= If you paint it and don't like it, you can just peel it off!!!!
I went to the local ace hardware yesterday and bought the only two cans they had left one red and one white.

Did anybody try sparying clearcoat over it to give it a gloss finish. May be smart to try on some scrap first to make sure it still peels off.

tried it with my wheels and it looked like crap because the plastidip is posperous and therefore when the clear went on top of it, it amplifies the holes or flaws of the plastidip.

Not supposed to clear coat it... They make a glossi-fier to make it shiny, its made by plasti-dip, that might work out better.
