I should note, however, that I'm biased. It's rare that I like black wheels. I still really wish they made a charcoal spray color :(

yeah btw dont paint on plastidip lol after letting 6 coats of plastidip set good, i put on 4 coats of clear in hope after each coat the clear would look better.... paint is not meant for going on top of plastidip due to the posporus texture... simple as that.. lol long story short i put 3 layers of plastidip over the clear then hit them with tire shine. wala! glossy black haha

Random question...seems like common sense, but I'll ask anyways. So the only prep for Plasti Dip is cleaning the surface. Unless the surface is really dirty/dusty, do you even think there will be an adhesion problem?

You can paint over plastidip with no issues whatsoever. Ask me how I know...

Remember how waaaaay back in the day I bought a couple cans of the blue Plasti Dip? Well I finally sprayed one of my wheels...

Once my phone finally sends the pic to my email account, I'll show everyone how it looks!

So there are a few imperfections, but that's completely my fault. I taped quickly, and peeled it off quickly. Because of that, I tore off a few pieces of the black like an idiot. I'll have to redo it, but this is a pretty accurate representation of how the blue looks wet. I'll have to see how it looks dry.

Love it, blue looks great, want to see it on the car though.

Same here, no problems for my gas cap or my dad's truck roof.

I would have said the black but when I saw the before color I went CLEAN! I gotta say the bronze, it goes VERY well with the car color. But if you like the black rock it proud!

"2nd Gen problems"
I've spent too long looking into the abyss. It's starting to look back.
