Yup, if you look at the pics I took I ws not to worried about over spray. That is because it isnt on the car anymore. It comes right off, I just wanted the tape/protection there so I wouldnt end up with a lot to take off.

Well i knew what i was doing... i rolled down the window, opened the door and sprayed it!!!!!!!

And i took those pics after i was done.. I was taking the tape off...

Whats the preffered method for masking things off. I plan on doing the full roof of my Jetta sometime soonish

Is it better/easier to just glob it all on at once and then peel the masking off before it dries / becomes solid and rubbery

or spray on several coats letting it dry in between and then having to go over it with a blade to seperate it from the tape. That way when peeling the tap your not accidently peeling all the dip off.

I vote for several coats and blade after.. I dnt think your gonna get it the way you want with just one thick coat...

Yeah, you definitely don't... I found out the hard way a few times. Luckily this stuff comes off so easily!
