If you want matte black, that's the cheapest. I think I spent $50 to do the vintage gold (3 cans gold, 1 gloss, and shipping). I used dipyourcar.com, but only because the gold was exclusive to them.

But do plan to use 3-4 cans. You gotta layer at least 5 coats on each wheel. I got away with three, because I only did the faces of the wheels. I masked the brakes off and sprayed them while they were on. (That youtube link I gave you shows how to do it.)

As stated 3-4 cans per 4 wheels. I thought it easier to take the wheels off to dip them. Get a thing of index cards and layer them around the rim of your wheel to mask off the tires, works like a charm start with light coats and get a little heavier each time. My local Walmart sells the black and glossifer Plastidip for 6-7 bucks a can I think. You Don't have to put gloss on them if you don't want but it makes them MUCH easier to clean and looks a bit better imo.

I how long did it take you to dip? Did you take the wheels off? I got the same car. But with tinted windows. Thinking about dipping my rims as well.

I can't remember if it was 2 or 4 hours. I either got home at 5 or 7 from work and was done by 9:30. The stuff dries in ten minutes between coats, but I waited 15-20 just to be safe. Just make sure to prep them well (washing and stuff). I had a leaf fall halfway through, and now there's a little imperfection in the dip. If you have the space to take them off, I would suggest that, though. It's definitely easier because leaving them on, you have to rotate the car halfway through. Mine being automatic, I couldn't leave it in neutral and turn the car off. I had to remask the brakes after I rolled it.
