Whenever the logos are painted over, the car looks weird. I dipped my grill but peeled off the Ford badge. Looks more OEM that way.

Yeah- I know it looks wierd. I was preparing for some overlays, I just can't make up my mind what I want. I wanted the overlays to have a black surround instead of chrome- there's no other chrom on the car- that looked even weirder. I don't know if I want red logo in black, black logo in red (wheels are black and red), black/grey, carbon/black, or even black/blue for the paint... Just can't decide.

If you take your time with it, the section over the logo will peel off flawlessly and follow the lines of the edge of the badge on its own as you pull it up. The glory of plastidip.

I knows! I took the emblem off to do the grill. Plastidiped both separately, cleared the grille then put them back together- the emblem being plastidiped was intentional. I did the back emblem and focus lettering too.

Like I said- I want overlays, but I don't want the chrome surrounding them. Overlays like this kinda: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s....php?p=4085203

Yeah, I can't decide on an overlay either. I was going to get the "ST" one, but thought it was kinda cheesy. Oh well.

Haha- well, I just discovered you should NOT use plastidip over a smooth item painted with krylon fusion. Nope. Bad idea. It reacts with the fusion and the dip bunches up. On a side note, plastidip can be used to remove krylon fusion somewhat guess I'm going sand paper shopping tomorrow
