Not sure because the paint over it, but I sprayed my dipped wheels with turtle wax bug and tar remover, let it sit, scrub with a microfiber cloth in a bucket of soapy water and was done in an hour with all 4.

I used CRC brake cleaner on my wheels. It works immediately. The dip just about drips off. If you try it, you'll need two cans.

This maybe? I honestly don't know if it would hurt the finish on the wheels or not, but looks to work pretty good

Looks like the wheel is chrome plated not painted, so using stripper to remove the dip probably doesn't hurt the chrome. I would be very cautious using any chemical to remove the dip. Doesn't take much to ruin the finish on a painted or clear coat finished wheel.

i know, but like i said, i don't have time to sit there and peel off a million pieces. i starting scratching it off with a razor and already scratched up my wheels. at least they're not some expensive aftermarket ones.

i kinda miss the factory alloy color. it's been a long time. but yeah i'll just dip over it. not worried about the outcome, the orange was painted over 8 month old dip, so it looked like crap anyways.
