To answer your question twinge, its black Plasti dip with a dark blue metalic paint over it. I wanted to try out the color for a week or 2 before spending the like 2 hours wet sanding and painting the piece. I'm thinkin Wednesday after work I'm gonna actually paint it and work on getting the radio/ HVAC control pannel out and paint that as well... On a side note, does anyone know where I can get the silver non textured passanger "focus" pannel and the silver driver side pannels? I saw somewhere that they're out of the coupes and SEL's? I have the black faux leather pannels and I want to paint the pannels to match the center strip.

I just used a Duplicolor dark blue metallic rattle can. I think it is a GM color. I'm thinking about switching it up to an even darker blue. Like a black paint with blue metallic flakes. I don't quite know exactly what I'm going to do yet. I'll post some pics when I make up my mind tho. :)

What's the best method for the badges... I just do a blue tape square around it, apply the dip and the start to remove and cut it to the shape of the badges/letters?

Or you could just not worry about the paint and get it buffered out. That's what I did... unintentionally lol. Don't actually do that ha..
