I have plastidipped winter wheels - they ride just fine. Lots of members on here have plastidipped wheels and if they were off balance, we would have stopped dipping wheels years ago. You can't re-balance a plastidipped wheel without ruining the plastidip - it is impossible, you will peel it up in the process. It's very safe to say that all the hundreds of thousands of plastidipped wheels on the road were all balanced before dipping.

Plasti-dip weighs virtually nothing. If you sprayed a whole can onto one square inch, you may have a tiny vibe, but I truly doubt it.
sounds like a troll lol....I've had Plastidipped wheels forever with no issues

And yes, I saw a few people saying they had a problem, but it must just be that they did not put the plastic dip on thick enough, and it went through the dip.

I tested on a spare rim I had laying around, and it peeled off fine.

the only thing is my right front one got messed up, because the plastic dip didn't like grabbing the deep corners on that rim, must of had dirt on it.

And here is a pic of them on the wagon, sun makes fender look mad faded, but it's just the way the sun is hitting it.

My camera isn't too great in certain light. Kodak easy share C713.

Whew, I am glad you posted a pic of that. Have been thinking of going with gold on my tan Milan and I don't think I'll be doing that anymore!

I got a hold of the smoke plasti dip and tried to give my reflectors a black smoke look and it came oh terrible. Don't but the smoke plasti dip it's not worth it.

I second that it doesn't come out smooth and is way to grey not enou translucent black, I was highly disappointed.
