Just kidding, it's not plastic dip now, but I did sample with dip to see if I liked it.

This is really SEM textured paint which I slightly sanded to even the texture, then panted black. This is just the start of the interior, the door panels will follow.

I dipped my emblems today. The FOCUS on the back looks a bit sketchy. I blame that on my lack of patience waiting for it to dry, and the fact that it began to downpour after the last time I covered it. Excuses, excuses.

Also did my SE emblem, which was off the car. Looks very nice - Just need to install it back on now.

Sorry, no pics. Lol.

ok theres like 171 pages i dont plan on reading ive gone thru like 15 tho and i am really interested in this plastidip stuff just wondering ive used rupper coat before and the stuff i used bubbled up and made it look like crap does this do the same thing or does it come out flat??....also if this stuff really sticks to anything with out any prep work pesides cleaning i may just use it to paint some stripes on my car an also some inside work as well thanks guys for the help and ideas i think me and plastidip are going to be best buds

It comes out flat and basically "self levels". If doing stripes, spray thick but not to thick to get runs, then before it dries, peel off the tape. It will stick to any clean metal or plastic surface, no scuffing or priming needed. Hell, buy a can and test it out, it peels right off after it dries, but is actually very durable. Its about $6-$7 a can.

ok sweet that works out great...yea i was reading a bit on there web site and seen it was only that much for a can lol thinking bout picking one up later today lol will post pics of what i paint later in the week looking at rims front bumber and some inside work lol
