Don't know if anyone has done the 3rd gen. gas flap yet. If so, awesome, if not, just putting it out there for everyone. I won't keep it on there....just wanted to see what it would look like with SGM; maybe it will spark ideas for other 3rd gen owners!!! Enjoy

Then did a small project with my road bike I know, it's not a car just having fun; now it looks killer sick though, and I swear it's made me faster.

Bike needs more stickers if you want to go faster, just like cars.

Is there a Trek inside?

Pssst I don't need stickers I swoop through the air like batman at night. Now my car on the other hand, of course stickers make is faster; putting some on tomorrow. Yeah a Trek you are correct, pretty much 9x out of 10 if you see Bontrager stuff.

Any comments on the gas flap? It does look weird because it's not your standard circle like I've seen others in this thread dip, which look cool. This, on the other hand, is borderline I think. Maybe on a different color car it would look a lot better.

I gotta say honestly that I'm not a fan of the gas flap. It seems out of place. I know that it doesn't make sense from the guy who has a SGM Ti with black all over it. Maybe because it's isolated, idk. I think what bothers me the most with it is that I think Ford did a good job of making that flap disappear into the body lines. That, and I know that if I did it with my tail light plans, it would look really weird.

Yes, the Bontrager everywhere is what made me assume Trek. Though I do have Rhythm Comp wheels on my Specialized, but that was aftermarket (naturally).

^ It was just a nice little exercise to see what it would look like, but I am going to take it off in the next day or two! Maybe someone will like it and do it, but with the odd shape, it doesn't really work. I agree though, I like how they made it flow in with the body lines.

(My next bike will be a Specialized!)
