Quick question for those of you who did your grill:
How many coats did you put on it? I'm assuming one can will be enough, but really don't feel like being wrong and having to go back to the store for another.

Forbid me if this question has been answered somewhere in the past 165 pages. I couldn't find much on it and the search system wasn't being very helpful.

I would most definitely not dip your lug nuts, not the mounting surface on the wheel. This will give you a false torque indication and will eventually wear out, causing your rims to be loose.

At the very least I would wait until the wheel is installed to dip your lug nuts, if so desired.

Edit: Maybe you changed your post, but I thought you asked about lug nuts. Sorry if I was wrong. I haven't done anything to my grill yet.

I did edit it. Sorry about that! I did a google search and found some information on that that I didn't uncover through the forum search - although the google search came up with a FF link.
Thanks for the information though.

My mom wanted a thin stripe down the center of her hood. What do you think:

I also plastidipped all her trim, it was really gray, now just waiting for some tru-black to come in so I can do it right.
