my latest hood stripes got messed up by bugs . . .



Plastidip served its purpose in my case as I actually like the way these look. I am just going to redo them in vinyl. Also a dear friend just bought a non black Crown Vic with ultra low miles, so we are going to have some major fun with that car . . .

I need to dip the fangs . . .

how did you remove the old stripes?

I pulled them off in one solid piece. Literally it took 8 seconds both times.

Just a tip, if you don't get it on thick, then it used to be a pain to remove. Solution: spray bug and tar remover on it, let it sit a few minutes and wipe off, do that twice and its good as gone!!

Black magic tire shine will do it too, be careful putting that stuff on if you have plastidipped wheels. Tireshine basically liquifies plastidip.

Actually tire shine cleans plastidip really well. Makes it look like you just put it on. Avie will speak to that too. And Ryan...

If you really think about it it makes sense too...plastidip is sort of a rubberized coating, so are tires. Tire shine is made to shine up rubber tires. It stands to reason if would do the same to dip.
