Boy,some of you guys are a bit sensitive compared to other forums and I'm just giving a point of view. Sheesh.

I'm just trying to save people some time instead of doing something again. I plasti-dipped my emblems on my 4Runner so I'm not against the uses just some of them seem like a redo happenng in the future.

I like using Plasti Dip to test out options and feel out the direction I want to go. It's nice to be able to tape some things off, spray it, and live with it for a week. If I'm not feeling it by then, I pull it off and try something new.

That being said, I am also not of the opinion that everything should be Plasti Dip. It does appear that it is starting to go the route of, um...

On a final note, it's your car. If you are cool with it, spray away.

Okay so maybe I was a little touchy. Sorry, thought the thread title was Fun with plastidip. Its not as durable a paint agreed, but a simple, reversible solution to paint.

Thanks Dr Phil, LOL. I will agree doing an entire hood or roof of a car or even the entire car is to much. But hey, it's your own car, do with it what you may. People love or hate my tails, either way I don't care. They are okay and a experiment, not permanent.

Has anyone tried the brush on stuff since you can use the make your own color and I'm just curious if that stuff would work on wheels.

I would have to assume that it would look like you took a paint brush to your wheels. Get one of these to spray your custom color:
