and i agree with you, Crice8. Headlights should definitely not be tinted... get black housings instead, gives almost the same visual appearance without effecting light output.

I completely agree with this. I actually have a brand new set of the light "tint" lamin x for the 08-11 focus headlights in a tub under my bed. Never even took the install stuff out of the package lol. i never have time to do it. ill sell it for the same price as laminx but ill do shipping/tax included so you can save that much if anyone is interetsed. they charged me $8 shipping

My tails were blacked out with the AVS plastic covers(not recommended) even though they velcroed on so removal was easy, the light output was affected. Good thing that I never got pulled over for it, or got rear ended. There are off now with no intentions of going back on. Never tried laminix, but plastidip peels off just as easy and light does shine through it. Now, I like the look of the OEM euros best of all, no tinting needed to give the rear a classy look.

Try peeling off plastidip that is sprayed thin(= ive been down that road... majoorrrr pain in the ASH.

By the time you made it thick enough to easily peel off it would not be transparent lol

EDIT: Actually you know all about this you just removed it from your hood(= i remember. i tried removing it from my wheels, with three coats it crumbled of what i could get off. i ended up saying screw it after hours of scrubbing and high pressure spraying them and just palstidipped over the remaining plastidip till it was thick enough to level out

that happened to me the other week... out came the can and then it ran out... lol.

just thought of an idea... mask off 3 of the 6 spokes on my svt rims and leave them silver-ish.... hmmm.... might look stoopid... but that is the awesomeness of the dip... completely reversible.

yeah this makes alot of sense. since i'm about to go to the police academy i prob shouldn't put too many illegal mods on my car. the law in VA states that you cannot tint any lights on your vehicle. pretty much anything that looks cool or sounds good is illegal here. oh boy.

Sucks huh lol. I told him be careful and he looked at me all weird lol oh well. Hmm that's a good idea lol
