OK. I put it on my wheels for winter. Now I trying to remove it. I have about 95% off. but a few places between the spokes( 12 spoke team dynamics) it was thin coating. now I got the thick stuff to peel but the places it went on lightly I can not even rub off with a finger nail. What is good to use?

I had some overspray on my car from doing my '12's window trim and this is what I did which should work on your wheels.

Wet them with cleaner, rub a clay bar on it to get as much of the grime & plasti-dip off. It probably won't take a lot of it off but some. Take a wax polish like turtle wax in those small round tins & apply it to your wheels. Let it sit for a bit & then just start rubbing it in & wiping away.

I did that and work wonders. Even got a bit of the polish on the plast-dipped trim & it held up very well. I love plasti-dip!
