The only difference between mine and new ones is the bolt pattern, on mine it's 4x108. On the new ones I think it's predrilled for multiple lug patterns, I got the first set off the line.

A long time ago I made a stencil out of poster board. The problem is that it doesn't stay still very well unless you tape it down. But then you have remove it immediately or else it will tear up the edges of the paint as it dries.

Someone recommended using one of the flexible craft store stencil kits. I've been meaning to go and buy one but haven't had the chance. In the spring I will. I want to do a lot more with flat black/blue on my car.

As an example, here was my stencil, and the outcome. I know I've posted these pictures before, but to save you the trouble of searching for them throughout the thread, here they are again. And yes, I know not everyone likes transformers, but my car looks like a giant freaking robot. It fits.



Right after I sprayed it on (there was some overspray which could later be wiped/peeled off):

The only hard part to do the whole car is you really need a inclosed area with no wind. We had to constantly change what side we were working on. So frustrating.

even just doing my hood it was very hard to get even coats and no stripes in it. Doing an entire car would be a tedious PITA
