I get a lot of compliments from my friends. As far as random people, I’ve only got once “Nice car!” while driving.

But one time when I went to the dealer for my first free oil change, some guy eye-fcked the sht outta my car!

I'd buy a Focus again, sure. It offers a lot for the money (easy to forget that it didn't cost a fortune). If I bought again, I might choose a bit higher spec.

I use mine for commuting, though, and it does a great job. Got to say I like it...

Love it!

Sips gas, handles great, auto trans works like a charm and it's super practical.

Sex on wheels!

It'll happen...in time, it'll happen. I had mine for close to 5 months before anyone mentioned anything, then got another, then another. Another came while I was parked, getting something sorted out, and a guy came by and tapped on the window. Scared the crap outta me! I forgave him though since he was admiring my car!

All in all, I'm extremely happy with it
Good one.

I guess I just got one of the "good" ones.
Ditto that, it was a great way to put it. I am on my second Ford DCT transmission this year with ZERO problems. I put 20K on the Fiesta before this car. I broke 4K miles in 5 weeks with this Focus with ZERO problems, other than the damn retread tire road hazard that took out my lower front right air dam. Ford Collision did the replacement in about 10 minutes and it cost $124. Yes, the MFT has hiccuped, but after I drive a few minutes it has come back. I'm sure the major update this spring will stop even that. October, 2012 build date on mine.

You think Ford is the only manufacturer dealing with technological growing pains?

I work at a Toyota dealer. I see plenty of warranty work happening here, too.
