FC 65mm TB and UDP kit installed
i finally got the focus central UDP kit and 65mm TB installed and i am very pleased with the throttle response and i feel more power. very happy with these mods to go with my AEM CAI, FC long tube race headers FS flex pipe & steeda short shifter. first time i drove it i pealed out at the first stop light. i am impressed with the throttle response. can't tell much from the pulley kit, but thumbs up for both.
but i do have a problem with the revs hanging at around 3,000rpm. someone says it just has to break in, anyone know anything about this? |

glad you liking your newest mods. You said you cant feel much from the pulleys, but did you install them one at a time or both together (in other words how can you tell it was just tht TB).
Ive been wanting to get a TB for my PZEV, but cant put myself to pay 250 bucks for it. oh well if i win the lottery ill be in there.

nice... i share similar mods.. and am extatically thrilled about them.. the throttle body was nice.. specially for throttle response..
about the hanging.. my motor revv's down kinda slow as well.. did you unplug ur computer and stomp on the brake to turn on the lights and run the juice out of ur computer and reset it? i found that that helped.. although it still revs down slow.. guess its a zetec thing...

I just bought an AFX UDP, can't wait to get it on...course I also can't wait to get my exhaust, header, supension all that crap on.

It does sound like the TPS. I had a similiar problem. Try reversing the TPS position, as in, flip it 180 and put it back on. S2 also had this problem.

the engine revs slow because of all that emission crap. But now if its hanging at 3k, that sounds like a TPS problem. Make sure you have it in there right and reset the ECU
