lol one more tip - while you're polishing the pad can get gunked up, so when that happens flip the buffer upside down, turn it on, and with light to medium pressure press the side of a closed end wrench down on it and move from the inside of the pad to the outside and back a couple times. Hold the wrench like a pizza cutter wheel except move it left and right instead of up and down. Make sense? The gunk will fly right off

Hmmm I may take you up on that. I have the 3M rubbing compound already. I just need to pick up the glaze.

Todd I didn't mean you had to come down today, lol.

my days off are sunday & monday. or I could do it any day after 3.00 pm although that probabbly is not enough time to finish before the sun goes down. The clear will be harder to wet sand the longer it cures so if it is dirty you should begin wet sanding with in a day or two after painting.

I may just take a shot at it myself. I've done it before I just need to get a better buffer and pads.

the hardest part is the wet sanding, once you get that done it'll go fast. When you're buffing just make sure you don't stay in one spot very long and the compound doesn't dry up where you're working
