Will do that's for sure! When he say Dysan911's work order he said it reminded him of the same parts that had be to changed with a recent TSB.

Otherwise he said, that Ford might not autorize all parts of that work order to be changed on my car unless their diagnosis recommends it.

Somehow, I feel like this is my 1st visit of many to come.

The good part is that the dealer/staff is receptive and friendly. That helps...

this is the work order print out from Dysan911 - which he's reporting that it addressed and fixed the issue.

as for the TSB, this only something my mechanic talked about this morning. Not sure if it's 100% verified/supported. Will know later when I pick up my car...

Thanks a lot. I'll check it out. Mine is horrible. I knew something wasn't right with this car. I just bought it in late Feb.

Even my Service manager mentioned a TSB. I asked him if by chance they noticed the parts they replaced, was there anything obviously wrong with them like a broken piece, something bent, etc. Also if the new parts looked any different (Beefier) than the old ones and he simply told me that he never got to talk to the Tech who did the work but that basically there was a TSB on it and that's about all he knew other than assuming the parts were likely changed and different from the originals.

I can only hope!. So far so good still!. Gonna take another ride with a couple passengers at lunch. Gotta friend who's interested in the FOFO and I told him I'd let him test drive mine. So sorta glad the noise is fixed. That would have made a crappy impression with it clanking away. LOL.

NOw that my car is fixed I find myself going over curbs and speedbumps EXTRA Careful. LOL. Scared to death im going to break it again. :)

Not too familiar with TSBs. Is this something I should tell the service people to check to see if there are TSBs for my car or do they automatically pop up when my car goes into the shop?

"Technical Service Bulletin"

The service department should check to see if there are any outstanding for your vin when you go in for service. You can follow them yourself on the ETIS site or on the Ford Owners site.

Got mine back yesterday. 1 of 5 issues I listed was actually corrected but 2 of the issues are subtle and/or intermittent so I will say it is more like 1 of 3 problems fixed. This clunk/rattle is one of problems that is easy to hear but they were "not able to duplicate". For now, at least it is a logged problem. I will wait until there is a list of success stories before I take it in again.

Picked up my car for the TSB 12B37 and to address the clunking.

I was not able to speak to the tech, but the front desk advisor handed me the work order and explained what parts that were ordered. It's in French, so here's an overview (translated)

- Installed "chassis" ears (confirmed noise on bumps and while turning)
- OASIS TSB 11-11-02
- Check and order coil spring green tag
- Top plates & related hardware

Apparently some of the hardware to fix the issue is not available in Canada and needs to be ordered from the US, so I should hear back from them within 2 weeks.

I did some research for that TBS 11-11-02 and this is what I found " CRUNCHING OR CREAKING NOISE FROM FRONT OF VEHICLE ON LOW SPEED TURNS AND BUMPS - BUILT ON OR BEFORE 9/9/2011".

My Ti Hatch was built March 12 2012... so not sure why this would apply to my car. I don't hear crunching/creaking, I hear CLUNKING! ... anyhow, I'll be patient and wait for their call when parts are in. Stay tuned!
