Sounds like your dealership loves you dude!
You should have bought a Chevy.

"Trust me, I have better things to do than..."
Obviously not.

You make your "specific situation" (or as the case may be, specific condition) rather clear.
Sorry, can't help with any of those other, moving target issues.

Fix is easy.
If you try and it solves the noise, imagine the satisfaction of having it resolved and knowing you did it yourself.

My vehicle has been in the shop 10+ times and spent over 30 days total out of my possession in an attempt to fix this issue and others, so please don't assume you know me and my specific situation.

There are many reasons (I think you'd rather call them "excuses") as to why I don't want to do this particular fix myself, none of which I have to justify to you but you definitely glossed over my overall point that until we see that one of the Ford reps is actually relaying potential fixes to the Ford Engineers then it seems like it would be in the best interest of the group to begin taking our vehicles in and requesting the dealerships attempt this procedure so that we can get some sort of nationwide (or global for all our members in Canada and elsewhere) documentation of what is working and not working on certain vehicles. Of course this all requires a responsible dealership that acknowledges the problem and is willing to help. I happen to be fortunate enough to deal with a great dealership and I feel for anybody out there dealing with service departments turning you away.

By the way, using your own logic: To say that the people who performed the task with no success is a result of the fact that they A:) must not have done it right B:) Clearly don't have the same issues uses the same assumptions that you said flawed my reasoning.

It's been to 2 different dealerships, the CSMs requested I get a second opinion, but I ultimately went back to the dealership that did the best work and acknowledged the problem.

Not quite sure why you have a problem with me trying to get the dealership to perform the procedure so I can have it documented on FoMoCo letterhead.

Moving target..

You obviously don't comprehend stuff very well;
read this post of mine http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...postcount=2057

Lastly, if you've been working with Crystal or another CSR, your "situation" is already clearly documented.

Also dealer will do the lube at the same time with install, they said they have heard of this technique before (although not for the focus) should I ask for a specific lube?

-also pls pls comment what you think on TSB springs if you had the TSB done, do you think car got just softer, lost bit of the solid handlng it had? If you had only one side applied hows the drive.. Does it pull on the TSB side vs the non-TSB side (say when you take off a red light..)
Thx!
I have the Ti handling package and I had mine replaced, I didn't notice any substantial difference from the TSB parts.

Thanks Crystal, I already have an escalated case and Susan is my CSM. Unfortunately, I have a couple issues open (transmission and suspension noise) and a service date has been set for early next week to rehash my open issues once I get back into town (travelling for business). I appreciate the offer, I'll let you know if anything changes.

Sounds good, HornedFrog05. I'm here if you need any assistance.

They only seem to stick around for a few months, and rotate in and out, so eventually they seem to filter back.

I don't know about a miracle but it is true that I'm back.

Cory's been tasked with a new assignment but still may pop in on occasion. If you guys remember Thomas, you can say hi to him at our verified Twitter account @FordService. Thomas handles marketing requests (brochures, test drives, etc.) these days, so if you need assistance in that arena he'll be happy to help you out.

Crystal
