And I the Focus Hatch over the Mazda 3 Hatch and Lancer Hatch... also, a horrible decision at this point. Neither could have as many issues as the Focus does...

I don't know about all you guys, but other then the clunk and floor mats wearing out in 1 year. No MFT. Or auto here. Stick and reg se-sport package sync works great. If Ford can get their head out of their A55 and fix my clunk issue. Then its one of the best newer cars I have owned.

I wish I could say the clunk was it! The tranny is good (imo) since the TSB for it. MFT is a nightmare (havne't updated to 3.5 yet), hatchback tail lights take off paint (one has been replaced, but still rubs the body, so much for their fix), and water collects on the driver side rear door (rust concerns inside the door).

I expected some issues with a complete remodel, but I didn't expect this level of incompetence on issues that shouldn't take this long to resolve (MFT, tail lights, water collecting and clunk). It's just ridiculous at this point.

Sonic_HedgeHog, BlazeFocus, revhigh, & Zillon,

Please believe me that Iím 100% dedicated to doing everything I can. One of the best tools I have is sending concerns up the line; individually escalating cases allows for the scope of an issue to be clearer.

Yea, she told me since the 2 dealers said it was "NORMAL" or "Nothing Found out of place". There is NOTHING she can do.... WTF? I just want my car fixed.... Why can't Ford engineers that have supposedly been working on this issue for 2 yrs find ANYTHING? What the hell are they doing? Having a circle jerk year round to think hmmmm "what could it be? maybe its a broken light bulb boucing around in the headlight?" " prob not" Come on now Cory, give us some GOOD news about this issue and not the "RUN AROUND"

What exactly does the clunk sound like? Is it a defined thud? I'm experiencing a noise at the front left that is more of a shuffle sound than a clunk. Going slow over a bump cause a sound that would be similar to giving a bag of bearings, rocks, or marbles a little shake. Thats the best I can come up with for a description. It's not a thud type sound.
