Parts from Ford ordered on 7/31...expected arrival is 9/15! You gotta be kidding me!

Got a call from my CSM today and was told she was escalating my case in order to get the backordered parts for my car in ASAP. Not sure how much that'll change things, but that's what she told me...

Well my car has been in for 10 days. They dont have all the parts but are puting back together until the parts arrive. Something about it taking up a lift. (I guess my car is in there way) I wish they would just keep it until its finished!

The strut bearings are backordered until 9/15, you'd be without your car for nearly a month, and that's if they come in on time.

Wonder what kind of delay, if any, the struts are on?

Well got KSport Coilovers on today and they are rock solid and quite as can be with none of the clunking I was starting to get... I have approx 5,500 miles on my car. The ride is very good not harsh at all, even with the spring rate which on paper looks pretty stiff. I had the dampening set on the mid point of the adjustment. I just got to get the the ride height sorted out the rear is way lower that I had hoped for and they say the adjustment is all the way out..... will be talking with Ksport USA tomorrow...

Those of us that have had the TSB fail can use this info to ask ford to go aftermarket if their engineers can't or are not motivated enough to get a ford solution. We don't care where the solution comes from. Mine is getting worse every few days about exactly the same rate that the parts failed originally.
Every time I go into my drive way it's a little worse for instance.

Question: you didn't change the strut bearings in your aftermarket swap, did you?
