Wavering idle. fixed.

I know alot of people have been having idle problems like myself. my problem stemed from a faulty Power Steering Presure Switch, any way that is what my buddy and the ford service center said. idles as smooth a silk now. so i hope this helps anyone who is having trouble.

Given the number of owners who have the idling problems, I'd doubt that each of these would have the same hardware failure that you had (your Power Steering Pressure Switch), unless Ford was supplied with a batch of faulty ones. I personally had an idling problem, or at least my car did!!!! The solution that Ford performed was to reprogram my PCM. I have only just picked the car up form the dealership tonight, so I can't comment on whether the solution is or will be 100% successful.

Cheers, Shane
